Scott Matthew writes and sings about the yearning for and disappearance of love like no other. In April, he released his sixth studio album “Ode to Others”. The bittersweet-melancholy songs pay homage to family and friends, but also to people, who have become victims of abuse, living and dead. Scott Matthew honours his Australian childhood, as well as his current hometown of New York, in which he has been living for the last 15 years. As always, his music is deeply emphatic, touchingly arranged and performed with his husky voice and signature style. Scott Matthew’s live shows are strangely moving.
