This German/Nigerian collaboration between European conceptual theatre and contemporary African dance deals with the (im)possibility of finding common ground against the backdrop of asymmetrical, post-colonial power structures. Five scrawny orphans from Lagos face a fat, white German man in a very special horror story that confronts us not only with questions of post-colonial guilt and obligation, but also with the mechanisms of the contemporary art industry.
