Their concerts are unpredictable; anything can happen. Helge Sten, Ståle Storløkken and Arve Henriksen aka Supersilent don’t rehearse together, nor do they discuss their music, which lies in a no-man’s-land between genres and somewhere between rock, electronic, improvised and contemporary music. They only meet for recording sessions and concerts, and their formation is seen as one of the most celebrated improvisation bands that also perform with other musicians. At the Mousonturm, the Norwegian guitarist Stian Westerhus, who always plays with his instrument’s limits, is along for the ride.
