The star guest of our May Ball this year is the electro duo Jeans Team, who combine dance music with complex pop structures and mostly short, German and often ingenious Dadaist texts. Known as energetic live performers and outstanding “teutonic electronic act” in the tradition of bands such as Kraftwerk or DAF, they will be the opening live act of the evening only to reemerge late at night as the DJ Team Tracht & Prügel. Their new album Alkomerz! is a prime example of abstruse business sense, X-rated and funny as hell and therefore just the right thing for a fling into spring. But that’s not all! Also along for the night ride is the best DJane in Frankfurt: Beatris with a opulent set of deep, tech and disco house and DJ Biffy aka Michèl Dion Balti, who brings together electro, blog house and disco.
