Our guest at the second “LOKAL Listener” is accordionist Martin Wagner. Born 1967 in Frankfurt, this musician is one of the most important jazz accordionists in Germany and has played with greats such as Helmut Eisel, Ulrich Tukur or Konrad Beikircher. Over the last years, the versatile virtuoso has travelled the lands with the Trio Tango Transit. Their music is an original fusion of tango and jazz, which would also surely have delighted the master of tango nuevo, Astor Piazzolla. And it’s all “Made in Frankfurt”. Gregor Praml, himself once part of the internationally acclaimed tango quartet Mi Loco Tango, will be speaking with Martin Wagner about his musical background. And of course, they won’t miss the chance to musically meet up on stage as well!
