Japanese Shakuhachi bamboo flute sounds meet field recordings: When Tony Clark and Dan Bay improvise together, a moment is created – “Ichi Jyo”. With their organic live electronics, the duo captures the emotions of the moment. In the spirit of the wandering monks of the Edo period (Komuso), the meditative pieces that emerge will take you on a musical journey to a peaceful world. The concert takes place as part of the Japanese Film Festival Nippon Connection.
