UNDER CONSTRUCTION – 100 Jahre Bauhaus

Mousonturm Saal

Poetry Slam/Concert

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Bauhaus, the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie has initiated a dialog between New Music, poetry slam and visual arts: under the direction of Corinna Niemeyer, the ensemble present five commissioned compositions for wind instruments and percussion, based on five paintings by the Bauhaus artists Josef Albers, Paul Klee, Lyonel Feininger, László Moholy-Nagy and Oskar Schlemmer. The music meets five poetry slammers, whose texts deal with the same paintings.
