Can you talk about poetry and remain silent on the question of hunger? Maybe not, at least not when it comes to Brazil, where literature and politics are intervowen in a unique and radical way. In a mix of short lectures and performative readings the Brazilian poet Ricardo Domeneck and German philosopher and translator Oliver Precht will give a multimedia based introduction to Brazilian literature. The presentation and the following discussion will be partly in English, partly in German.
