Von einem Land, das es nicht gab

Mousonturm Studio 1

Performance/Theater

“You are disappointed because some things have changed here after all. Yes, this idiotic freedom, this silly democracy. And now you are angry at the people of the GDR for having eliminated this situation that you chose for yourself.” – Carolin Millner’s performance is an experimental set-up with the goal of distilling an essence from her own grandfather’s biography. The attempt proves to be an endless puzzle and the extracted essence is the utopian memory of a life that never existed.
