Anna Maria Jopek & Kroke – which is Yiddish for Krakow – are two of the best-known musicians in Poland currently touring successfully throughout the world. Thus July, there are coming together at the Palm Garden for an exclusive concert, bringing with them a programme put together especially for this one evening. And so the Krakow troupe Kroke, whose musical identity is rooted in Yiddish folklore tradition, but who also integrate jazz and classical elements in their music, meet the Polish star singer, whose magical voice combines the freedom and expressiveness of jazz with the warmth of Polish traditions.
