Nach dem Zorn

Mousonturm Saal

25YMT/Performance/Theater

In a brilliant revolutionary journey, Stéphane Bittoun’s world premiere overcomes time and space. Nach dem Zorn interweaves historical, real and fictive material on various narrative and stylistic levels into an absurd multilingual and multimedia film-radio-play-stage-performance. Six icons of different revolutions meet: Fidel Castro has grown old and longs for new revolutionary spirit and virility. Sitting at the sidelines of the trial against the Pussy Riot punk activists, he falls in love with the beautiful Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, contacts her under the alias “Che” and frees her from a Russian prison camp. Russia immediately closes all its borders and the guerrilla troupe embark on a dangerous journey. Only the real Che can save them now. Meanwhile Aung Suu Kyi has developed a profound sympathy for Julian Assange, under arrest in her former home of London, just as she once was for 15 long years in Burma. But shady Assange just wants to benefit from her image as a saint. Suddenly T.E. Lawrence turns up, an Oxford alumni just like Kyi. The Arab world is in turmoil. Lawrence knows: he has united the Arabs once before and can do so again. A small group of Anonymous followers see their chance and plan a massive global revolutionary coup with the illustrious icons.
