“Spuckesee” is a story about home and family. A Wild West tale set in the post-reunification prairie of eastern Germany, featuring cigarette trees, refuse collectors, fake “Indians,” real indigenous inhabitants, Thomas Gottschalk lookalikes, sawed-off aunts, goat feet, eccentric cousins, straight vertical headshots, Führer speed, monster trucks, Sorbian grandmothers, other legendary figures and a lake that the teenagers built themselves. The piece was written and produced by Fachkräftemangel, a collective including members of the band Pisse, with music as emotional support. BBF Productions and Rohe Eier 3000 perform in the live radio play.
