Guillermo offers a class focused on alignment, while exploring aspects of the body’s alignment in three-dimensions. With attention to the breath, the class will also involve aspects of the mind - considering how we increase a sense of presence and explore the details contained within our movement quality. We will also play with different flows, dynamics, speed, and combinations, with the aim of empowering movement efficiency and self-expression through ballet vocabulary.
Continuing in the frame of a ballet class, Emma will be offering a class with exercises allowing participants to work on their own technique, with the freedom to explore range, dynamics, musicality and personal coordination. Through imagery and anatomical cues, we will dive further into the practice of mindfully moving, sweating, and aligning the body.
Guillermo and Emma will be sharing two weeks of profitraining, each offering their individual take on a ballet class while exchanging with and supporting one another throughout the two weeks. Being new to teaching, in the context of profitraining, the weeks are identified as ‘new comers’ weeks, to encourage and support younger teachers.
