The Story of the Little Mole Who Knew It Was None of His Business.

Werner Holzwarth, Wolf Erlbruch and James & Priscilla

Three performers in extravagant costumes—silver glitter jackets, black leather jackets, green and purple sunglasses—form a dynamic group formation on a dark stage: one person squats in front in a split, a second stands upright with arms outstretched behind them, and a third raises their arms triumphantly in the air. Orange balls, colorful piles of clothing in purple and green, and a small bell are scattered on the stage floor.

A performer sits in front of a black background, looking up with a furrowed brow and a questioning expression—she is holding a pair of glasses in her hands, which are clad in black gloves. She is wearing a fluffy pink cardigan over a dark outfit and a reddish-brown cap shaped like a turd on her head; behind her, a piano can be seen dimly.

Two performers in glittering costumes and black bodysuits balance on a colorful pile of pillows, sacks, and lengths of fabric in shades of green, brown, and beige that cover the stage floor. The person on the left wears safety goggles on their head and stretches out both arms, while the person on the right leans forward with their arms outstretched—both appear as if they are about to jump or stumble. Orange balls are scattered across the dark stage floor.

The Story of the Little Mole Who Knew It Was None of His Business.

Werner Holzwarth, Wolf Erlbruch and James & Priscilla

One morning, it happens: a brown turd lands right on the mole’s head. How rude! And it’s not that easy to find out who did it. While the mole asks around quite unabashedly, he realizes how interesting he actually finds the other animals’ droppings. And he meets two true poop experts: the flies. Between oversized turds, pigeon droppings, and horse apples falling from the ceiling, the three players tell the well-known story from the perspective of the mole and the flies and really let loose in the pigsty disco!
