Nivin and Linus both dream of making big money—but for very different reasons. Nivin lives with her family in an apartment that is much too small, and she needs the money for a room of her own. Wealthy Linus, on the other hand, wants to fulfill his dream of owning a pony. When the two children discover posters advertising a reward for the return of a lost chameleon, they know they have to find the animal. Even though they are initially competitors, Nivin and Linus quickly realize that they must cooperate to track down the little animal in the urban jungle of Berlin. The search turns into an exciting summer adventure in which the two not only discover exciting places and meet quirky characters, but also develop a true friendship despite their different social backgrounds.
