This training is a movement practice based in guided improvisation. Dancers work through structured prompts that build agency, physical awareness, and clear decision-making in real time. We focus on sensing, proprioception and articulation while investigating dynamic contrasts, including suspension and release, flow and interruption, control and abandon. We will explore how different qualities and forces shape movement and play with transformation across states. Training includes curated prompts designed to develop adaptability, efficiency, spatial awareness, and plasticity. Improvisation is used within clear frameworks, offering support and direction while encouraging specificity and intention in movement choices. My training offers dancers practice in handling complexity. Joy, curiosity, and play are central to practice.
