The photo shows several dancers on a dark stage in red light. Three performers stand side by side, torsos tilted sideways, one hand on the head and the other on the torso. The seemingly synchronized pose emphasizes body lines and group dynamics.

The photo shows two dancers interacting on a dark stage. One performer in a deep lunge holds the hand of the other, who lifts one leg high upward. Additional figures appear blurred in the background, while lighting draws focus to the connection between the pair.

Falling into Time

BAtanz

BAdance presents “Falling into Time”, an evening of six choreographic works that revisit the past and practice the new. Audiences are invited to join in the risk, release, and thrill of plunging into the ephemeral temporality of live performance. Students have worked closely and across disciplines with Prof. Hannah Shakti Bühler, Prof. Emil Kuyumcuyan, Prof. Eva Maria Pollerus, Julian Barnett, and Yuval Pick to create three new works. The evening also presents a new adaptation of “Sonaten” by BAdance alumnus Richard Oberscheven and two remounted works: “Exquisite Corpse” by BAdance alumna Sade Mamdedova and excerpts from “Enemy in the Figure” by honorary professor William Forsythe.
