Contemporary - Informed by Release Technique

Inspired by somatic practices such as Body-Mind Centering and drawing from the tradition of release techniques, this professional training is grounded in anatomical awareness.

Each session focuses on a specific bodily system - skeletal, muscular, organ-based, fascial, or nervous - as a resource for both technical development and artistic expression. Through a combination of set material and improvisational tasks, the class supports the emergence of a dynamic, responsive, and highly energized body rooted in sensory perception. Particular attention is given to coordination, the modulation of energy, and musical phrasing, while cultivating clarity and precision of intention in relation to space and other bodies.
