Ballet - Foundational Mechanics

Ballet training that goes back to the basics, this class follows a traditional structure with daily or weekly themes running throughout its combinations. Whether it focuses on different aspects of opposition as strength, or the relationship of gravity to the focus of the eyes, this class brings new perspectives to a foundation of ballet mechanics for a both fun and physical class.

Biography

Max Levy, born in Tokyo, began his dance journey in the USA, later becoming a soloist with Staastheater Nürnberg, earning nominations by Dance Europe and tanz magazine. As a choreographer, he’s collaborated with Künstlerhaus Mousonturm, saasfee*pavillon, Roxy Ulm, and eisfabrik Hannover, as well been resident with STL/MODINA, Staatstheater Darmstadt and Tanzplattform Rhein-Main. He continues to develop choreography while writing music and visuals from his base in Frankfurt, Germany.
