“My Documents” is a program, created and curated by Lola Arias, in which artists from different backgrounds present lecture performances, based on personal research, a radical experience or a story that secretly obsesses them. In "Or All Your Changes Will Be Lost", the English writer and director Tim Etchells investigates his own physical and digital notebooks, in which he has gathered written materials of different kinds for more than 35 years. In these notebooks he has collected short texts; ideas, notes, lists and phrases of his own invention alongside fragments from overheard conversations, movies, graffiti, newspapers and books. Retrieved from boxes during the corona lockdown the notebooks contain seeds of a thousand narratives, some personal, others linked to political and social events and upheavals, some true imaginary.
Participation in the event takes place via the software Zoom by which the audience can see the performance live, make comments and exchange visions and insights afterwards. At the same time, the show can also be followed in the livestream.
