With Pouya Ehsaei, we invite a leading figure of the Iranian electronic music diaspora to the Secret Salon. The musician, curator, radio producer and networker, who comes from Tehran and currently lives in London, has been working on the creation of new acoustic worlds and collaborative artistic forms of work since the late 1990s. When the protests in Iran began last year, he also increasingly appeared in solidarity campaigns, such as the broadcast format “Sonic Liberation Front”. In this evening's solo set, he will elicit hypnotic soundscapes and pulsating miniatures from his electronic sound generators. Before and after the live set, DJ Carl aka Charlotte Simon will play coarse to finely selected sound material at the Salon.
