Two bodies meet, one younger, powerful and full of life force, the other older and frail. Mimouna (Latifa) Khamessi has always dreamed of becoming a dancer, but it was her son who had the opportunity to make dance his profession. When Mohamed Toukabri was granted Belgian citizenship last year, she was finally able to join him with a visa. After being separated for a long time, mother and son are now reunited in a tender duet. Carrying and being carried, caring and letting go are touchingly negotiated in Toukabri's poetic performance. The stage becomes a place where memories take on new meanings and a better future seems possible – a passionate plea for the right to go where we want.
