For a long time, adults always had the same songs in mind when they heard children’s music. We wished that there was music made not only for children, but that their parents could also listen to and enjoy. This is where Deniz & Ove come in. They fulfil what other albums promise and then fail to deliver: Music for the whole family! In 2021, the two musicians from Hamburg introduced the indie sound to children’s music with their debut album “Bällebad”. They excelled with casual lyrics and first-class music and honoured the range of children’s issues and emotions with witty everyday poetry that met the little listeners on an equal footing. The cultural press cheered, the children jumped enthusiastically into the “ball pool” and the adults breathed a sigh of relief when they booked concert tickets for one of Deniz & Ove's numerous live shows.
