Wallis Bird has been thrilling audiences with her temperament and musical power for over a decade and in that time, has played over 800 shows. The Irish singer-songwriter fights for women’s and transsexual rights and against racism and injustice. Her irrepressible energy on stage is her trademark, her explosive blend of Irish folk, rock, pop and soul has won her several international awards and can even “kick-start an entire economy”, according to the Irish Times.

When summer comes, euphoria rises and the incidence falls, Fortuna Ehrenfeld’s new album “Die Rückkehr zur Normalität” provides the soundtrack to fill the Corona vacuum. With joy. With dangerous catchy tunes. And as usual with a bit of madness. A world in which such a crude and self-confident mixture of pop and poetry, of bar and dance floor, of melancholy and feigned bats in the belfry finds an audience of its own, can’t be so fucked up after all.
