Tony Rizzi braucht man eigentlich nicht mehr vorzustellen, prägt er doch als Wegbegleiter William Forsythes und Schöpfer mitreißend-skurriler Performances seit Jahren die Frankfurter Tanzszene. Sein Stück „eines Niemand für niemand besonders“ hat bei der Premiere im April 2019 das Publikum tief berührt. Es wird deshalb für alle, die es damals verpasst haben, oder diejenigen, die es noch einmal sehen möchten, wiederaufgenommen. Inspiriert von einer Reise nach Kyoto erforscht Rizzi die Verbindung des Menschen zur Natur, die sich im japanischen Konzept des Kami ausdrückt. Kami bezieht sich auf Götter, Naturgeister und die Seelen Verstorbener, aber auch auf intensive Reaktionen im Anblick von Naturphänomenen. Rizzi nutzt die fortwährende Bewegung in der Natur als Metapher, um in seinem Stück mit viel Empathie und Humor Geburt, Tod und das Nicht-Sein zu untersuchen. Der nicht endende Energiefluss des Tanzes führt uns an den richtigen Ort, um den Tod ebenso zu genießen wie das Leben. Lasst also die Party beginnen!

Biografie
Tony Rizzi and the Bad Habits
Antony Rizzi worked for many years at the Frankfurt Ballet with William Forsythe as well as with the avant-garde theatre director Jan Fabre. He has been creating performances for 30 years, since the age of 23 with his first work at the Boston Ballet. Besides creating for his Bad Habits and dance companies like Bayerische Staatsballet, the Royal Ballet of London and Ballet Kiel, Rizzi also creates films and polaroid collages that have been presented in various art galleries and museums including Mori Museum in Tokyo and the Kunstverein and Fotoforum Frankfurt. Rizzi is currently working on his memoirs called „So Far So Good”.
