The Future of Sex

Mousonturm Saal

Performance/Tolle Künste

Sex is omnipresent in the media and insociety, and yet we are having less and less of it. We no longer lie in bed together, but prefer the company of our laptops and smartphones. Individual phantasies and real sexual relationships are drifting further apart. Will the digital world soon become our most important access point to sex? What do they look like – todays traces of tomorrow’s sex? The Flemish-Dutch performer’s collective Wunderbaum, bestselling author Arnon Grunberg and master director Johan Simons set out to survey the boundaries of our sexual desires and hurl themselves into an erotic science-fiction fantasy. They roam related websites, interviews teenagers, test the newest virtual sex toys and develop characters, already living in another dimension of intimacy. Arnon Grunberg’s texts are based on his experiences in the French nudist and swinger village Cap d’Agde.
