U20 Poetry Slam

Mousonturm Studio 1

Other/Reading

It is easy to explain what a poetry slam is: more than one person recites poetry that he has written himself within a pre-described space of time in front of an audience, who rates both the texts themselves as well as the quality of the live performance. So much for theory. In reality the most exciting thing about such poetry competitions is not only the diversity of the texts, but also the style in which they are presented, how the poets captivate listeners and spectators and provoke a veritable storm of enthusiasm. Or not. For in the end, it is the audience who chooses the winner…
