The police are that authority in society, which usually acts from the periphery, while nevertheless fully penetrating the centre. Their discrete presence alone suppresses contradictions and deviations from social norms, sets limits or ignores them. In Uni * Form, choreographer and dancer Simone Aughterlony and filmmaker Jorge León mirror, breach and undermine together with their ensemble the basic rules of police force in disturbing and yet joyful ways. Six adults in uniform practice police inefficiency, only to soon follow their desires and deep interest in interpersonal interaction, fragile attactments and touching intimacy.
