“Bratsch may well be the best band ever to have mixed jazz, Klezmer, South European and Roma music”, so the press about a band, who describe their acoustic cosmos as imaginary folklore. In their music, they combine various styles of world music such as Balkan, Gypsy, Yiddish music, Klezmer, bal-musette, rebetiko, French Chanson and masterfully reshape them into new variations enriched by free jazz.
