Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm

ZuKT: giving you a taste for dance! Once a year, the Department for Contemporary and Classical Dance at the University for Music and Performing Art presents an ambitious program at Mousonturm. The spectrum of choreographies shown at ZuKT_#TANZ ranges from the “Danse macabre” of Mary Wigman’s series “Tänze der Nacht” (1918) to pieces by Cameron McMillan, Marguerite Donlon and Ayman Harper, as well as new work by Jean-Hugues Assohoto, Marc Spradling, Johannes Wieland and Katja Cheraneva, a ZuKT alumna, whose worked with The Forsythe Company and has developed a piece with ZuKT students for the first time. By working with many different choreographers, the students have the chance to playfully explore their artistic capabilities – dynamic, precise, mindful, captivating, dashing!
