CAMPO TALK

Mousonturm Studio 2

Tolle Künste/Discussion

Almost ten years after founding, CAMPO is one of the leading European production centres in the field of performing arts and internationally considered a model institution. Created out of local grassroots organisations, CAMPO is primarily oriented towards the diverse and specific needs and claims of the artists based there and takes on an active role in all productive phases ranging from conception, production, realization to management. In CAMPO TALK, Kristof Blom, artistic director of CAMPO, Belgian author, curator and dramaturge Tom Engels and theatre scholar Georg Döcker from the Gießen Institute for Applied Theatre Studies discuss CAMPO’s work, its meaning and its consequences for the institutional funding of independently working artists in Flanders, the Netherlands and Germany.
