Soul, blues, country, modern R’n’B and Eighties pop; Jochen Distelmeyer promises all this with his latest album “GEFÜHLTEN WAHRHEITEN”, which acts like a balm for wounded souls. Distelmeyer deals with losing oneself and finding oneself again, with the Babylonian babble of voices in social media, with longing and desire, social division and a love that succeeds and triumphs in the end. Along the way, he shows us what it feels like to be alive.
Jochen Distelmeyer still succeeds again and again in creating the most poetic connection between pop, poetry and politics. From the seemingly banal, everyday, he moves with playful ease into the big picture and back again.
The event will take place in all weathers. Access only via the entrance in Palmengartenstraße. No seating entitlement. After the event, the ticket is valid as a 2for1 voucher for a visit to the Palmengarten (until 31.12.2023).
