Most people fear nightmares. Konstantin Gropper says he looks forward to them. Inspired by the 1950’s sound of Sinatra, he released his fifth album “The Horror” together with Get Well Soon in June 2018. This new album, which delves deeply into dark and disturbing things, created by the classically trained multi-instrumentalist and singer, or better said: crooner, who also composes film music, is an orchestral album about fear. For currently, fear seems to rule the world and cannot be ignored. At first, Gropper warmly engulfs his listeners, letting them then abruptly tumble into the depths, only to re-embrace them again with symphonic harmonies and grand gestures, as if to say: No one is alone!
