Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm

Nacera Belaza is one of the most unconventional choreographers in France. Born in Algeria, she emigrated as a child with her family to France. There, she began performing as a self-taught dancer. Belaza’s pieces occupy the fringes of conscious thought and explore the elements that connect different worlds. A few, clearly defined and scarcely varying gestures suffice for Belaza and her dancers to produce a fascinating slipstream that draws the audience right into the heart of their movements.
