What happens when a host unconditionally places his own space at the disposal of another? Lake in the Lobby questions the concept of radical hospitality. The boundaries between oneself and others dissolve and the approximation of the Other occurs in the space that we assume to be closest to ourselves: using our own bodies, using movements and above all using touch, which is always fleeting and in spite of all (possible) intimacy always also emphasizes the boundaries between bodies.

Alma Toaspern
Alma Toaspern studierte an der HfMDK Frankfurt und bei P.A.R.T.S. in Brüssel, residierte u.a. am Pact Zollverein Essen und arbeitete mit Choreografen wie Andros Zins-Browne und Ioannis Mandafounis.
