From 10 to 15 November, the Jewish Museum reopens its doors to the public for the first time. Over the course of six days, visitors can not only peek behind the scenes of the new building, but also experience an eclectic programme of art, music, film and street food. The event series ends with Futur II Konjunktiv’s performance “Nicht von hier irgendwo”. In the Frankfurt edition, the performance collective explores the experiences and memories of Jewish displaced persons in Germany after 1945. Out of recorded and retold memories, out of Yiddish texts and images, as well as video recordings, grows a fragmented mosaic of the in-between life situation of Jewish survivors after the Shoah, having returned to Germany of all places.
