In his book Wege zum Ruhm (publ. 1995) Robert Gernhardt names 13 paths to attaining artistic immortality. Since 2009, one more requires mentioning: winning the Robert-Gernhardt-Prize! A total of ten laureates have been named since and five years after the first presentation of the award, time has come to look back and reflect. For this, we have invited two of the very first laureates, Christian Golusda and Thomas Gsella, as well as a legitimate Gernhardt successor. Golusda, prize-winner 2009, presents excerpts from her satirical Cole-Porter revue together with Martin Lejeune. Thomas Gsella, prize winner 2011, addresses the Viechern in Versen (Creatures in Verses) in keeping with the lyrical tradition of Gernhardt.
