Master Programme Choreography and Performance (CuP): Rough Proposals 2017

Conceptual dance, movement-based dance or post-dance? What sparks the creation of dance? Composition, improvisation, movement research or repertory? This is the question driving the festival Rough Proposals, in which students of the Gießen Master Programme for Choreography and Performance (CuP) present the results of individual lines of inquiry and shared explorations in the fields of performance, dance and choreography: “In order to imagine a flexible institution based on open channels of communication between audiences, artists and their environments, we invite you all to join in our research, to visualise and experience time together. Self-contained and in the process. With everyone or alone. Before, during or after the dancing. Our search for choreography is open to all.
