Forum Inclusive Cultural Practices — FinK

Location: Amt für multikulturelle Angelegenheiten (Gallus)

Begegnung/Discourse

Four network meetings on accessibility and cultural work critical of ableism in the Rhine-Main region.

With the four-part network series Forum “Inclusive Cultural Practice” (FinK), Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm (MT) and Amt für multikulturelle Angelegenheiten (AmkA) invite to exchange ideas.

FinK aims to create time and space for disabled, Deaf and chronically ill cultural actors as well as non-disabled cultural actors to share knowledge and form new or closer alliances. There is an opportunity to get to know each other on site or online.

The first meeting will focus on the following questions: How can we promote networking? How can accessibility for disabled, Deaf and chronically ill artists and visitors be implemented and what do terms such as privilege, ableism and audism have to do with it?

Each meeting is divided into 20-minute sessions: a joint arrival, an expert input on inclusive cultural practice, two periods for interactive exchange, time for a break with food and drink and a joint conclusion at the end. From 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. there will be time for drinks and snacks.

— Free Admission, to attend via Paula.Pchalek@mousonturm.de
— Duration: 120 min, followed by time for drinks and conversation
— Telephone number for questions: Lea Gockel +49 (0) 1590 1847005
— The event will take place at stadtRAUMfrankfurt, Mainzer Landstraße 293 (near Galluswarte)

Moderated by Mirjam Kreuser and Fabian Korner, co-moderated in Easy Language by Anne Leichtfuß
