Almost two years ago, Ariel Ashbel made up for his missed bar mitzvah as part of a METAhub festival – now he and his friends will provide the atmosphere at the Purim party in the Jewish Museum for the METAhub finale.

Every year on Purim, Jews celebrate the fact that – thanks to Queen Esther – they escaped the first attempted pogrom in the Persian Empire after the exodus from Egypt. This story is read from the Megilat Esther (“Scroll of Esther”) in all synagogues on Purim. Traditionally, people dress up – and we ask you to do the same. Come dressed colourfully, weird, or however you feel comfortable! We look forward to having you join us!
