The vast majority of things are now more uncertain than ever. Verena Billinger & Sebastian Schulz and their ensemble encounter this pressing uncertainty with a choreographic plan, a ‘Tanzabend/N. N.’ that addresses the situation which can be anticipated in the future: with lives that are increasingly spread out in bubbles and cocoons. With bodies that are separated and divided from each other by architecture and regulations in work, art and everyday life. With a life between enablement and repression. In their choreography Billinger & Schulz shift between interiors and exteriors, between cars, the foyer and the theatre space, between advanced studies for future pieces and the ruins of those that are currently impossible to present. Here “N. N.” stands for something that might be appropriate for the future moment: dancing in the transition. And a soup to warm you. Because winter is coming and may those prosper who have supplies and a warm jacket.
