A highly energetic concert happening in two parts for trombone, piano, synthesiser, violin and voice.
In Part I, at the end of the eve of Shabbat, queer arias, medleys and wild improvisations search for an art of playing and mourning together in a wounded world.
In his large-scale music theatre series ‘Ressurrection Games’, composer and performer Elischa Kaminer brings together a wide range of autobiographical, fictional and liturgical references with an ensemble of master musicians and performers. Gentle moments meet loud absurdities and condense into associative images and constantly shifting soundscapes.
Part II can be experienced the following morning (24 March) at 12 pm. Mapping Memories – All Together Now presents this music theatre piece in its entirety for the first time in Frankfurt.

Biography
Elischa Kaminer
Elischa Kaminer arbeitet als Komponist, Performer und Theatermacher an den Schnittstellen von Musiktheater, experimenteller Musik, Queer-Pop und jiddischer Musik. Seine Arbeiten mit diversen Künstler*innen und Kollektiven u.a. LIGNA, CHICKS* freies performancekollektiv, Olivia Hyunsin Kim, Tümay Kılınçel, Pinsker + Bernhardt, Mayah Kadish, Alex Paxton und Julia Novacek wurden u.a. im Muziekgebouw Amsterdam, Nationaltheater Mannheim, Schauspiel Hannover, Kampnagel, Mousonturm, Sophiensaele, der Music Gallery Toronto, Roy. O. Disney Hall Los Angeles und dem Sungmisan Theatre Seoul aufgeführt und zum Impulsefestival, Favoritenfestival, Berlin Peforming Arts Festival, Spitalfields Music Festival, Podium Festival und Musik 21 Festival eingeladen. Elischa Kaminer studierte Komposition an der Royal Academy of Music in London und sowie am Institut für Angewandte Theaterwissenschaften Gießen, gefördert durch ein Stipendium der Gerhard C. Starck Stiftung. Seit 2021 ist er Associate Composer beim britischen Plattenlabel nonclassical und ist 2024 Artist in Residence am Britten Pears Arts Centre, UK.

Alex Paxton
Alex Paxton (1990), “Ein rebellischer Überfluss an Liebe und Wut…ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis”, The Wire Magazine, ist ein preisgekrönter Komponist und improvisierender Posaunist aus Großbritannien. Alex gastiert regelmäßig als Solist und Komponist mit führenden internationalen Orchestern und Ensembles, u.a. dem Ensemble Modern, London Symphony Orchestra, WDR Symphonie Orchester, NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester, London Sinfonietta, Riot Ensemble und Klangforum Wien. Seine Musik wird von Ricordi (Berlin) veröffentlicht. Alex Paxton’s hat bisher drei Alben veröffentlicht – MUSIC for BOSCH PEOPLE (Birmingham Record Company/ NMC Label), iLOLLI-POP (nonclassical) und HAPPY MUSIC for ORCHESTRA (Delphian Records) und wurde mit dem Ernst-von-Siemens-Kompositionspreis, dem Paul-Hindemith-Preis, Claussen-Simon-Kompositionspreis und dem Ivor-Novello-Kompositionspreis ausgezeichnet.
