Arab Contemporary
In October we present four outstanding dance productions from the context of the “Beirut International Platform of Dance” joined under the title Arab Contemporary. Many of the artists work in close exchange with partners from France or in fact direct their own dance centers there. The four pieces shown at the Mousonturm reflect the ambivalence with which they pave their way between cultural roots and an aesthetic and social (art) discourse that is dominated by the West.
